Angela Bullock Gabel has a general civil law practice with an emphasis in education and governmental law. She is admitted to practice in both Missouri and in Kentucky. Ms. Gabel has successfully defended school district clients in personnel, racial discrimination and various tort claims. She has argued before the Missouri Eastern District Court of Appeals, the Federal Eastern District and in Missouri trial courts. In 2016, Ms. Gabel was affirmed by the Eastern District in a published opinion that clarifies and strengthens official immunity for school administrators. She was also affirmed in a published opinion that changed Missouri election law to allow voting locations to remain open due to election irregularities.
In addition to litigation, Ms. Gabel has extensive experience in legal research and writing. In her capacity as an attorney for the Circuit Court she drafted judgments upheld in the Missouri Supreme Court and in the Eastern District on areas including election law, administrative law, the Sex Offender Registry Act and medical malpractice. Ms. Gabel has worked on a wide variety of law including administrative law and appeals, arbitration, civil procedure, contracts, equity, insurance, zoning, class action lawsuits and toxic torts.
